NW Indiana ENT and Sinus Center is highly specialized in both medicine and surgery, and we are experts in a wide range of illnesses and conditions related to the head and neck. Our physician provides diagnosis and treatment for all general conditions relating to the ears, nose and throat, as well as for conditions related to taste and smell, head and neck cancer:

Sinus and Allergy Problems
We can help treat allergy and sinus problems, such as sinusitis and allergic rhinitis. Treatments can include both medical and surgical methods for allergy and sinus problems.

There are numerous causes of nasal obstruction. A deviated septum (the partition between the nostrils) can be crooked or bent as the result of abnormal growth or injury. This can partially or completely close one or both nasal passages. The deviated septum can be corrected with a surgical procedure called septoplasty. Cosmetic changes to the nose are often performed at the same time, in a combination procedure called septorhinoplasty.

Endcoscopic Sinus Surgery
Endoscopic sinus surgery differs from conventional intranasal surgery in that is stresses careful diagnostic work-up to identify precisely the cause of the problem. Sometimes an office exam with an endoscope or CT scan may identify disease that ordinarily would not have been found.

Snoring and Sleep Apnea
Many Americans go night after night of restless sleep, only to wake up exhausted. A common cause can be excessive snoring and/or sleep apnea. Our highly trained physician can accurately assess your problem and help get you on your way to better sleep at night.

Dizziness and Balance Problems
Sudden dizziness or balance problems affects many people. Our center commonly treats dizziness and balance disorders, which can be caused by many factors such as disease, injury, or even tumors.

Ear and Hearing Problems
We offer comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for hearing and ear problems, which can be as simple as cleaning out ear wax or all the way up to cochlear implants. We also treat ear infections.

Middle ear infections (otitis media) are common in children. When a child has repeated ear infections or fluid build-up in the ears that do not go away easily or that cause hearing problems or speech delays, we may need to insert an ear tube to allow the eardrum to equalize the pressure.

Throat Problems
Sore throats and hoarseness are very common problems that we can treat and help you feel better.

Tonsil and Adenoid Problems
Tonsillitis is an infection or inflammation of the tonsils, which are balls of lymphatic tissue on both sides of the throat, above and behind the tongue. Usually this can be treated with medicine, although sometimes a tonsillectomy (surgical removal of the tonsils) is necessary.

Adenoids are similar in structure to tonsils and are lymphoid tissue located in the back of the nose. These can also become inflamed and symptomatic, in which case an adenoidectomy (surgical removal of the adenoid) may also be necessary.
