TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE.
Dr Shridhar Ventrapragada is a fellowship-trained, board-certified otolaryngologist with a sub-specialty in sinus surgery.
Dr Shridhar Ventrapragada received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and completed medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. This honor is limited to only 15% of the graduating class. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr Ventrapragada was subsequently accepted into a rhinology fellowship for sinus surgery at Georgia Sinus and Nasal Institute with renowned Dr Fred Kuhn. Dr Kuhn, before his retirement, was widely considered to be one of the five top sinus surgeons in the world.
After his fellowship, Dr Ventrapragada was recruited by the Lahey Clinic outside of Boston. Lahey is a world-renowned institution that specializes in sinus surgery and surgical treatment of sleep apnea. Dr Ventrapragada chose to return to his hometown roots in the Midwest. He established Northwest Indiana ENT and Sinus Center in 2009. He performs hundreds of sinus surgeries yearly along with other ear, nose and throat surgeries for his patients.
